Hannah DeMarino, O.D. grew up in Glenville, West Virginia and completed her undergraduate education at West Virginia University, majoring in biochemistry. She received her Doctor of Optometry from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University, graduating with clinical honors and completing advanced studies in anterior segment disease.
Dr. DeMarino further trained at the VA San Diego Healthcare System where she completed a primary eye care residency with an emphasis in ocular disease. During her time there, she also gained experience in managing patients with low vision and traumatic brain injury and was able to perform minor surgical procedures.
Dr. DeMarino is excited to join the team and provide high-quality, compassionate eye care to her patients. Considering vision and ocular health to be extremely important, she enjoys making a difference in her patients’ eye care. Dr. DeMarino’s areas of focus include glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, dry eye and contact lenses. She will be providing comprehensive eye exams, treating all forms of chronic and emergent ocular disease.
Dr. DeMarino currently resides in Wilmington, North Carolina. In her free time, she enjoys going to OrangeTheory, trying new restaurants, and spending time with family, friends and her bernedoodle, Ella.
