Dry eye can be caused by oxidative stress in the body. Foods rich in antioxidants can help slow down the process of oxidation. Here is a great recipe filled with fruits that are abundant in antioxidants.

Ingredients:

1 cup strawberries (frozen or fresh)

1 frozen sliced banana

1/2 cup rice milk (almond milk would work too)

1 tbsp almond butter

1/3-1/2 tablespoon honey

For topping options:

Strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, granola, chia seeds.

Instructions:

Blend all ingredients in the blender. And then add the toppings of your choice.
