Jessica Ikner

Jessica is one of our three Optometric Technicians. Jessica enjoys spending time with her husband, Jeremy and yellow lab Zoey. She is very passionate about helping patients and is working towards getting her certification as an Optometric Technician. She was raised in Upstate New York, straight across the Canadian Border where she enjoyed spending time fishing, boating and hiking the Adirondack Mountains. Jessica attended State University of New York at Canton for nursing and since then her desire to learn more in the optometry field has grown.  Jessica‚Äôs favorite part about working at Bladen Eye Center is being able to learn new things and interact with our patients.

Santana Melvin

Santana is one of our optometric technicians at Bladen Eye Center. She has worked in the world of Optometry for over 15 years. She has been married to her husband, Brantley, for 3 years. She is the mother of 2 beautiful children, Gavin and Abigail. In her spare time she likes fishing, camping, reading, and tractor pulls.

Pam Tanner

Pam is a Front Desk Receptionist at Bladen Eye Center. She has 25 years in customer service experience and two years in medical office experience. Pam obtained her first degree later in life. She holds an Associates of Arts majoring in Health Care Administration and is currently working toward her Bachelors Of Science majoring in Health Care Management which should be completed by the fall of 2018. Pam is a small town girl and enjoys a simple life. She lives in Roseboro with her fiance Danny, her two children Anthony and Izzy, their four furrbaby pitbull's Hiro, Karma, Axle and Rebel and one granddog shorkiepoo Molly. In her spare time she enjoys cooking, baking, fishing, binge watching Netflix and a nice glass of wine. She is an advocate of Adoption, a PCOS warrior and cerebral palsy awareness. She enjoys learning new things and aspires to be a roll model for her daughter, to use her people skills,education and desire to succeed to reach her full potential in her career and future endeavors.
